Tsaritsyn – Stalingrad – Volgograd

The history of our city comes back to 1589 when Tsaritsyn was founded on the coast of the Great Russian River Volga. Since then our city experienced many severe battles and warfare but each time the city revived again and again.

Today Volgograd is one of the most beautiful cities of the country, a large industrial city (producing tractors, oil products, steel and rolled metals etc.) & a major cultural center with many theatres, cinemas, museums and sport facilities. We are proud of our city and happy to live here!

These weekends (September 7th & 8th) we celebrated the 413^th Anniversary of Volgograd. The celebrations were interesting and had great variety. We took part in the celebrations and decided to share our impressions about the holiday with you. Welcome to read our short report about the celebration!
